McCance and Widdowson Electronic Books

Staff and Students in Dietetics, Nutrition and Biological Sciences will be interested to know that the Library now has access to the Royal Society of Chemistry's McCance and Widdowson ebook collection.  There are seven books in the collection which can be accessed either by author/title in the normal way or by typing "ebook collection" as a keyword. JSTOR Register and Read Service

Check out the new  Register & Read service from JSTOR!  It is a new, experimental program which offers  free, read-online access to individual scholars and researchers who register for a MyJSTOR account.

By nominating your favourite book or books in the QMU World Book Survey (maximum of 3 books) for QMU’s Top 20 Good Reads for World Book Day, AND making a donation of at least £2.50 on our QMU World Book Day Page , you can help children in one of the poorest parts of the world get reading.
You will also be making a contribution to the LRC’s Book Support Fund to support additional material, such as new fiction for all our QMU readers.
The first £2 of each donation will go to Book Aid International to help support literacy development in sub-Saharan Africa, with the remainder going to the LRC’s Book Support Fund.
